When you create a prayer or discussion, you can now @someone. Whether you share the prayer or discussion in a group or in your feed, and whether you set it for public or private, you can @someone and invite them to pray for you or to join your discussion.
When you create a prayer or discussion, you will see the “@” button as an option.
Click on the “@” button, and you can select the person or persons you want to mention from your friends list. Click on “OK,” and they will be shown below the content.
After you publish your prayer or discussion, the person or persons you mentioned will receive a notification, so they’ll know you’re inviting them to pray for your prayer request or join your discussion.

To send us feedback, simply click on your profile photo in the upper left corner, and then select “Feedback” at the bottom of the page. Type in what you want to say, and click on “Send.” You can also click on the option to fill out our short survey, if you wish.

Church is an important part of our spiritual life. In 2or3 you can easily find others who attend your church, so you can communicate with them and pray for each other.
To view a list of your church’s members, click on your profile picture in the upper left corner to enter the “You” section. Click on “My church,” and you will see the information about your church and the list of members. In this page, you can follow other members. You can also join your church’s group in 2o3. You can share about your church with others in 2or3 as well.
If you haven’t yet added your church information to your profile, you can do that easily by searching for your church’s name and then adding it to your profile.
If you know other members of your church who aren’t in your church’s group yet, you can share the church page with them. Simply click on “Share Church,” and then choose the method you want to use, such as Facebook, Messenger, etc.
You can easily join your church’s group in 2or3. Click on the church group name to enter the group profile page. Then click on “Join.”
Your “Prayer List” is a great tool for managing your prayers. Prayer requests you create will automatically be added to your list. You can add others’ prayer requests if you want, when you see them shared in your groups or publicly. Then later you can pray for all the requests one by one.
Your “Prayer List” is displayed in the “You” section. Click on your profile photo in the upper left corner, and then click on “Prayer List.”
You will see all the prayers you have added to your “Prayer List.” You can click on “Pray Now” to pray for them one by one. You can move from one prayer to the next by swiping left or right.
You can also edit your “Prayer List.” Click on “Edit” in the upper right corner, and you can remove any prayers from your list, if you want to.
You can also manage each prayer request by clicking on the three dots on the right. You will see the options to mark the request as “Fulfilled,” or to close the request (these options are only for prayers you created). You can also choose to “Remove” the prayer request from your list or to “View details” about the prayer request.
If you pray for a friend’s prayer request, they will receive a notification that you prayed for them. They will be encouraged to know that you prayed.

Sharing an event is a good way to gather friends and spend time together in person. You can create and post events in your “Feed,” as well as in your groups.
To create an event in your “Feed”:
1. Tap in the message bar at the top of your “Feed” page to create a new moment. Select the option for “Event” at the bottom of the page.
Enter the name of your event, the description, and the registration URL for the event if applicable. Set the time frame for the event, and choose whether the event will be a “Public” event or for your “Friends.”
When you are finished, click on the arrow icon in the upper right corner to post the event to your “Feed.”
After posting the event, you will receive a notification whenever someone chooses to join or participate in your event.
If you want to delete your account, please email us at: email@example.com. We will take care of it for you. Then we will send you an email to confirm that your account had been deleted.
Please note that once your account has been deleted, all the content you shared on 2or3 will also be deleted. So please back up any of your content that you want to keep before requesting to delete your account.
You can find events on the “Explore” page or in your groups.
On the “Explore” page, you can click on the “Event” section at the top. You will see the events that have been shared by others. If an event is ongoing or in the future, you can click on the “Going” button to join it.
You can also find events in your groups. Click on the group’s avatar, then click on “Events.” You can gather information about events from the group “Resources” page. Click on specific events you are interested in for more details. If you find an event you want to join, you can click on the “Going” button to indicate that you will attend.
To create an event in your group or private chat, first enter the group or private chat. Then tap on the “Event” icon at the bottom of the screen. Fill out the event details (event name, event date/time, event location, etc.). Then click on the arrow icon in the upper right corner to share your event with the group or in the private chat.
The person who created the event can also delete the event. To delete the event, first click on the event, then click on the “…” icon in the upper right corner. Then confirm that you want to delete the event.
Only group members can access the events created within that group.
If you have questions about things you want to discuss with other Christians, you can come to the Discussion section in 2or3.
To create a new discussion:
On the top of the “” page, you can create moments, prayers, discussions, and videos. Click on the “Discussion” option.
Enter your question and the description of your discussion. You can also add a photo, Bible verse, and hashtags for the discussion if you want. You can select the visibility for your discussion to be “Public” or for your “Friends.”
When you are finished preparing your discussion, click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to share it. Or you can click on the “X” in the top left corner to cancel.
When you post a moment, prayer, or video, you can select the option for it to only be visible to your friends. Content posted as “Private” or for your “Friends” can’t be shared or reposted.
When you post content in your “Feed,” click on the bar that says “Public.” The drop-down menu will show the other options (“Friends” and “Private”). Select the option you want, and it will be applied to your post.
The visibility setting for each post is displayed with the corresponding icon, to show whether the post is “Public,” “Private,” or for your “Friends.”
To post Scripture verses in your “Feed,” tap on the message bar at the top of the “” page to start a new moment. Then click on the Bible icon. You can use keywords to search for a passage. Select the verse or verses you want, and click on the arrow icon in the top right corner. Then you can set the visibility for your post as “Public,” “Private,” or for your “Friends.” You can also add a picture and hashtags if you wish. Or you can click on the “X” in the top left corner to cancel.
When you are finished preparing your post, click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to share it in your “Feed.”
There are two ways to share a link in your “Feed”:
Click on the “Video” tab at the top of your “Feed” page. Copy the link you want to share from your web browser and paste it where it says: “Enter address.” Click on “Next” in the top right corner. Then you can add your comments and select whether the link is “Public,” “Private,” or for your “Friends.” When you are finished, click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to share the link to your “Feed.”
Tap on the message bar at the top of your “Feed” page to start a new moment. Enter your comments about the link you want to share. Then copy the link from your web browser and paste it under your comments. Select whether your post will be “Public,” “Private,” or for your “Friends.” Then click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to share it in your “Feed.”
Click on the “Video” tab at the top of your “Feed” page.
Paste the link from your web browser, or from YouTube, that you want to share.
Click on the “Next” button in the upper right corner.
You can add your comments to the video and select whether it will be posted as “Public,” for your “Friends,” or “Private.” When you are finished, click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to send.
You can start a private chat with a friend and enjoy private conversations in 2or3. Let’s look at the options for using this feature:
Start a private chat on the “Chat” page.
Click on the “+” icon in the top right corner of the “Chat” page and select “Start Private Chat.” Then select the person you want to chat with and click on their name to begin a conversation.
Start a private chat from a friend’s profile page.
You can go to a friend’s profile page by clicking on their picture in the group member list, or wherever you see their profile picture. Click on “Chat” to start a private conversation with that friend.
Start a private chat from your friends list.
Click on your profile picture in the upper left corner to enter the “You” section. Then click on “Friends.” From the list of “Your Friends,” find the friend who you want to chat with. (Your friends are listed in alphabetical order.) Click on the conversation icon next to the person’s name to begin a private chat.
You can only start a private chat with someone you are already friends with. To see how to add friends in 2or3, you can click here:
There are two ways to share Bible verses in a group or private chat:
Insert the Bible verses directly in the chat.
Enter the group or private chat and click on the “image” icon in the lower left corner. Then choose the “Bible Verse Image” option.
You can type in keywords to search for a verse. Select the verse or verses that you want to share. Then click the arrow icon in the upper right corner to send.
Copy and paste verses from the Bible reader.
Click on the “Bible” icon in the lower menu to open the Bible reader. Find the passage you want to share. Tap on the verse or verses and select “Copy.” Then enter the group or private chat and tap in the message bar to paste the verses. Click on “Send” to share the verse or verses with your group.
2or3 can help you connect with other Christians all over the world. You can search for people, follow others, and send requests to add people as your friends.
Click on your profile picture to enter the “You” section. Then click on “Invite Friends.” Type in the name of the person you want to search for.
You can click on the person’s profile picture to see their profile page. On their profile page you can choose to follow the person or add them as a friend. If you follow the person, you can see theirs posts. If they accept your friend request, then you can also start a private chat with them.
#Hashtags are now officially supported in the 2or3 app.
To add a hashtag to content you post in your “Feed”:
Click on the “#” icon, and a list of suggested hashtags will be provided. If you see the hashtag you desire to use, click on it to add it to your post. If you do not see your desired hashtag, write out the new hashtag that you want, and then click on it to add it to your post. In the future, that hashtag will be included in the memory bank of hashtags.
The “Feed” function allows you to easily share content and to follow the updates of your friends.
To add content to your “Feed,” go to the “” page. You can tap in the message bar at the top to start a new moment.
In your “Feed,” you can share prayers, discussions, and even videos from YouTube.
You can add photos and hashtags to your posts. You can also set the visibility for your content as “Public,” “Private,” or for your “Friends.” Then click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to share your posts.
The “Explore” tab provides access to current topics and opportunities to interact with other users you aren’t connected with yet.
In “Explore” you can:
1. View current topics and trending hashtags.
Discover the moments, prayers, and discussions related to current topics.
2. Meet and follow others in 2or3.
By clicking on a moment, prayer, etc., you can view the details of that post. You can also click on the person’s profile picture to see their profile page. On their profile page, you can choose to follow them or add them as a friend. Once you choose to follow someone, their posts will be included in your “Feed.”
3. Comment on, like, or share other people’s posts.
If you comment on someone’s post, you will also have the option to repost it. Then it will be shown in your “Feed.”
On the “Chat” page, select a group or a private chat and swipe left on the name. The options to “Mute” or “Pin” or “Delete” will appear. Simply click on the action you want to do.
You can also enter a group and tap on the “…” in the upper right corner. There you will see the “Mute Notification” option as well.
If you want to unmute or unpin a group or a private chat, swipe left on the name again and you can click on “Unmute” or “Unpin.” Once you click on “Delete,” the group or the private chat will be deleted from your “Chat” page.
If you do not want to receive notifications, you can change your settings. Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner. Then click on “Notifications.” You can turn notifications on or off. Or you can select “Mute Notifications” and set a starting and ending time for muting your notifications.
To manage your privacy settings and your “Block List,” tap on your profile picture in the top left corner, then select “Privacy.” You can adjust your settings to allow others to follow you and send you friend requests or not.
If you click on “Block List,” you will see the list of people you have blocked. If you want to unblock someone, you can click on the “Unblock” button. Then confirm that you want to unblock the person.
To block someone in 2or3, go to the person’s profile page by clicking on their profile picture. Then click on the “…” icon in the top right corner. Select “Block user” and confirm that you want to block the person.
If you want to block private messages from a person, enter the private chat you have with that person. Click on the “…” icon in the top right corner. Then select “Block messages” and confirm that you want to block messages from that person.
To add friends in 2or3, click on your profile picture in the top left corner. Then select “Invite Friends.” You can then add friends in the following ways:
Add friends through recommendations by 2or3.
2or3 will recommend people who you may know. They may attend the same church, or they may be friends from your contacts or Facebook, etc.
Click on the “+Friend” button to send a friend request to someone. If the person accepts your request, then you will become “Friends” in 2or3.
If it says “Pending” next to the person’s name, it means that the person has not responded to your friend request yet.
If it says “Accept” next to the person’s name, it means that person has sent you a friend request, and they are waiting for your response.
Add Add friends via Facebook.
Add friends from your phone contacts.
Add friends using a QR code.
You can generate an invitation QR code and share it with your friends. Also, on the “Chat” page, if you click on the “+” icon in the top right corner, you can then select “Scan QR Code” from the drop down menu.
Other Options. Add friends by sharing your personal profile page.
Add friends by visiting another person’s profile page.
After you send someone a friend request, that person will receive a notification. He or she can then click on “Accept” to become friends with you.
You can see any new friend requests that have been sent to you by going to the “You” section and clicking on “Friends.” Then select “Friend Requests” to see all your requests.
Have you ever had a friend ask you to pray for something, and you said you would, but after a busy day you totally forgot? Maybe you need a prayer list!
When someone shares a prayer in your group, and you want to remember to pray for it later, you can click on the “Add to Prayer List” icon next to their prayer. Or you can click on their prayer for more details, and then select “Add to Prayer List.” Then later you can look at your “Prayer List” (in the “You” section) and be reminded to pray.
Whenever you have your daily prayer time, you can go through your “Prayer List” and click on the “Pray Now” button to keep track of the fact that you prayed for each request.
How can I know God’s will for my life? Is suffering for Christ always going to be part of being His follower? Why do I believe in Jesus, and what has He done for me?

On the “Explore” page, you can click on the “Discussion” section, and you’ll find all the discussion topics listed. Select a topic you are interested in and click on it. You can share your comments by clicking on the button.

To report illegal activity or information in 2or3:
Click on the “…” icon in the upper right corner of a group’s profile page or a person’s profile page. (To find the group profile page, click on the group photo in the upper right corner. Then click on the group photo again to see the group profile page.) Or you can click on the “…” icon in the upper right corner of the page for a prayer, event, discussion, etc.
You will see the option to “Report.” Click on that button and select a reason that best describes why you are reporting the group, person, prayer, event, etc.
Or you can click on “Cancel” to cancel the action of reporting.
Once you have reported something, our staff will handle your reports appropriately. Thank you for helping to keep 2or3 as a safe and thriving community.
To join a private group, you will need a member of that group to invite you or share the group with you.
A group member can send you an invitation to join the group using an invitation QR code or the group’s PIN. Or they can share the group with you in a private chat or another group. Or they can invite you to the group via email, Facebook, etc.

Groups can have up to 300 members. Only the group’s owner can request to increase the group’s member limit.
If you would like your group to be larger than 300 members, you can email a request to firstname.lastname@example.org. In your request, be sure to include:
The account that you registered with and are using in 2or3.
The group’s name.
Why you want to increase the group’s member limit.
And the new member limit you would like to have.
While it is possible to have large groups within 2or3, please keep in mind the purpose of having a group, which is to build community. Also remember that the group messages are reply-all, which means that whenever a member replies to the group, everyone in the group will get a notification.
