The new search feature on the “Explore” page makes it easier to find things you’re interested in.
Click on the search icon on the upper right corner of the “Explore” page. On the search page you can see your recent searches and what searches are trending.
Type in the name of the person or the keywords you want to search for. The search results will show the content that matches, such as moments, people, groups, prayers, churches, discussions, etc.
If you have questions about things you want to discuss with only your group members and not with everyone in 2or3, you can create a private discussion in your group.
Enter your group and click on the discussion icon “” in the lower menu to start a discussion.
Type in your question and the description of your discussion. You can also add a photo, Bible verse, and hashtags for the discussion if you want.
When you are finished preparing your discussion, click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to share it with the group. Or you can click on the “X” in the top left corner to cancel.
When you create a prayer or discussion, you can now @someone. Whether you share the prayer or discussion in a group or in your feed, and whether you set it for public or private, you can @someone and invite them to pray for you or to join your discussion.
When you create a prayer or discussion, you will see the “@” button as an option.
Click on the “@” button, and you can select the person or persons you want to mention from your friends list. Click on “OK,” and they will be shown below the content.
After you publish your prayer or discussion, the person or persons you mentioned will receive a notification, so they’ll know you’re inviting them to pray for your prayer request or join your discussion.

Church is an important part of our spiritual life. In 2or3 you can easily find others who attend your church, so you can communicate with them and pray for each other.
To view your church group, click on your profile picture in the upper left corner to enter the “You” section. Then click on “My church” to view the church group profile page. You can click on the blue “+” button to start a conversation, a discussion, a prayer, or a moment in your church group.
To view a list of your church’s members, tap on any of the profile photos under the group title, and you will see the whole list of members. When you click on the profile page of a member, you can then select to follow that person or add them as a friend. Once you are friends, you can start a private chat with the person.
If you haven’t yet added your church information to your profile, you can do that by editing your profile. Tap on your profile photo in the upper left corner to enter the “You” section. Then tap on the edit icon in the right corner to edit your profile. Click on the “Church” option and you can search for your church’s name. Select the correct church and add it to your profile.
Your “Prayer List” is a great tool for managing your prayers. Prayer requests you create will automatically be added to your list. You can add others’ prayer requests if you want, when you see them shared in your groups or publicly. Then later you can pray for all the requests one by one.
Your “Prayer List” is displayed in the “You” section. Click on your profile photo in the upper left corner, and then click on “Prayer List.”
You will see all the prayers you have added to your “Prayer List.” You can click on “Pray Now” to pray for them one by one. You can move from one prayer to the next by swiping left or right.
You can also edit your “Prayer List.” Click on “Edit” in the upper right corner, and you can remove any prayers from your list, if you want to.
You can also manage each prayer request by clicking on the three dots on the right. You will see the options to mark the request as “Fulfilled,” or to close the request (these options are only for prayers you created). You can also choose to “Remove” the prayer request from your list or to “View details” about the prayer request.
If you pray for a friend’s prayer request, they will receive a notification that you prayed for them. They will be encouraged to know that you prayed.

If you want to create a prayer request that is only for you to see, you can select the “Private” setting when you create the prayer request.
Sharing an event is a good way to gather friends and spend time together in person. You can create and post events in your “Feed,” as well as in your groups.
To create an event in your “Feed”:
1. Tap in the message bar at the top of your “Feed” page to create a new moment. Select the option for “Event” at the bottom of the page.
After posting the event, you will receive a notification whenever someone chooses to join or participate in your event.

If you want to delete your account, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will take care of it for you. Then we will send you an email to confirm that your account had been deleted.
Please note that once your account has been deleted, all the content you shared on 2or3 will also be deleted. So please back up any of your content that you want to keep before requesting to delete your account.
Sharing a poll is a convenient way to gather opinions, thoughts, and suggestions from others in 2or3. You can create and post polls in your “Feed,” as well as in your groups.
To create a poll in your “Feed”:
After sharing the poll, you will receive a notification when someone participates in your poll.
You can find events on the “Explore” page .
On the “Explore” page, swipe left on the section at the top until you see the “Event” option. When you click on the “Event” section, you will see the events that have been shared by others. If an event is ongoing or in the future, you can click on the “Going” button to join it.
To create an event in your group or private chat, first enter the group or private chat. Then tap on the “Event” icon at the bottom of the screen. Fill out the event details (event name, event date/time, event location, etc.). Then click on the arrow icon in the upper right corner to share your event with the group or in the private chat.
The person who created the event can also delete the event. To delete the event, first click on the event, then click on the “…” icon in the upper right corner. Then confirm that you want to delete the event.
Only group members can access the events created within that group.
If you have questions about things you want to discuss with other Christians, you can come to the Discussion section in 2or3.
To create a new discussion:
When you meet someone in 2or3 who you want to follow, you can click on the person’s profile picture to see their profile page. Then you can click on the “Follow” button to follow him/her.
If you no longer want to follow someone, simply click on “Following” to unfollow, and then confirm that you want to unfollow the person.
When another person in 2or3 follows you, you will receive a notification.
In the “You” section, you can see how many people you are following and how many followers you have.
When you post a moment, prayer, or video, you can select the option for it to only be visible to your friends. Content posted as “Private” or for your “Friends” can’t be shared or reposted.
When you post content in your “Feed,” click on the bar that says “Public.” The drop-down menu will show the other options (“Friends” and “Private”). Select the option you want, and it will be applied to your post.
The visibility setting for each post is displayed with the corresponding icon, to show whether the post is “Public,” “Private,” or for your “Friends.”
To post Scripture verses in your “Feed,” tap on the message bar at the top of the “” page to start a new moment. Then click on the Bible icon. You can use keywords to search for a passage. Select the verse or verses you want, and click on the arrow icon in the top right corner. Then you can set the visibility for your post as “Public,” “Private,” or for your “Friends.” You can also add a picture and hashtags if you wish. Or you can click on the “X” in the top left corner to cancel.
When you are finished preparing your post, click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to share it in your “Feed.”
There are two ways to share a link in your “Feed”:
To share a video in your “Feed”:
You can start a private chat with a friend and enjoy private conversations in 2or3. Let’s look at the options for using this feature:
Click on the “+” icon in the top right corner of the “Chat” page and select “Start Private Chat.” Then select the person you want to chat with and click on their name to begin a conversation.
You can go to a friend’s profile page by clicking on their picture in the group member list, or wherever you see their profile picture. Click on “Chat” to start a private conversation with that friend.
Click on your profile picture in the upper left corner to enter the “You” section. Then click on “Friends.” From the list of “Your Friends,” find the friend who you want to chat with. (Your friends are listed in alphabetical order.) Click on the conversation icon next to the person’s name to begin a private chat.

There are two ways to share Bible verses in a group or private chat:
Enter the group or private chat and click on the “image” icon in the lower left corner. Then choose the “Bible Verse Image” option.
You can type in keywords to search for a verse. Select the verse or verses that you want to share. Then click the arrow icon in the upper right corner to send.
Click on the “Bible” icon in the lower menu to open the Bible reader. Find the passage you want to share. Tap on the verse or verses and select “Copy.” Then enter the group or private chat and tap in the message bar to paste the verses. Click on “Send” to share the verse or verses with your group.
2or3 can help you connect with other Christians all over the world. You can search for people, follow others, and send requests to add people as your friends.
If you send a misspelled or incorrect message, don’t worry. You can recall it.
Tap and hold on the message that you want to recall, and you will see the “Recall” option. Click on “Recall,” and confirm that you want to recall the message. It will be recalled immediately.
Please note that you can only recall messages within two minutes of sending them.
If you prefer not to be sent friend requests by others, you can adjust your privacy settings.
Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner to enter the “You” section. Then select the “Privacy” option.
Adjust your settings to what you prefer. You can allow others to add you as a friend and to follow you or not.
Group admins are able to send group notices in order to make announcements about important notifications, to share group guidelines, share reminders about events, etc.
For Android users:
To create a Bible verse image, go to the top of your “Feed” page and start a new moment.
Click on the Bible icon and search for the desired verse. Select the verse you want. Then you will see the available templates for the Bible verse image. Choose the template you like.
Select the visibility for the image (“Public,” “Private,” or for your “Friends.”). Then click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to share it.
#Hashtags are now officially supported in the 2or3 app.
To add a hashtag to content you post in your “Feed”:
Click on the “#” icon, and a list of suggested hashtags will be provided. If you see the hashtag you desire to use, click on it to add it to your post. If you do not see your desired hashtag, write out the new hashtag that you want, and then click on it to add it to your post. In the future, that hashtag will be included in the memory bank of hashtags.
The “Feed” function allows you to easily share content and to follow the updates of your friends.
To add content to your “Feed,” go to the “” page. You can tap in the message bar at the top to start a new moment.
In your “Feed,” you can share prayers, discussions, and even videos from YouTube.
You can add photos and hashtags to your posts. You can also set the visibility for your content as “Public,” “Private,” or for your “Friends.” Then click on the arrow icon in the top right corner to share your posts.
The “Explore” page provides access to current topics as well as opportunities to interact with others in 2or3.
In “Explore” you can:
Click on a hashtag to view the moments, prayers, and discussions related to that topic.
By clicking on a moment, prayer, etc., you can view the details of that post. You can also click on the person’s profile picture to see their profile page. On their profile page, you can choose to follow them or add them as a friend. When you follow someone, their posts will be included in your “Feed.”
If you comment on someone’s post, you will have the option to repost it. Then it will be shown in your “Feed” as well.
Click on the blue “+” button to start a discussion, prayer, or moment. You can choose the setting for your content to be “Public,” for “Friends,” or “Private.” If you choose the “Public” setting, your content will be visible in the “Feed” on the “Explore” page.
Click on the search icon in the top right corner. Then type in a name or keywords for your search. You can filter the search results by clicking on the options at the top.
On the “Chat” page, select a group or a private chat and swipe left on the name. The options to “Mute” or “Pin” or “Delete” will appear. Simply click on the action you want to do.
You can also enter a group and tap on the “…” in the upper right corner. There you will see the “Mute Notification” option as well.
If you want to unmute or unpin a group or a private chat, swipe left on the name again and you can click on “Unmute” or “Unpin.” Once you click on “Delete,” the group or the private chat will be deleted from your “Chat” page.
If you do not want to receive notifications, you can change your settings. Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner. Then click on “Notifications.” You can turn notifications on or off. Or you can select “Mute Notifications” and set a starting and ending time for muting your notifications.
To manage your privacy settings and your “Block List,” tap on your profile picture in the top left corner, then select “Privacy.” You can adjust your settings to allow others to follow you and send you friend requests or not.
If you click on “Block List,” you will see the list of people you have blocked. If you want to unblock someone, you can click on the “Unblock” button. Then confirm that you want to unblock the person.
To block someone in 2or3, go to the person’s profile page by clicking on their profile picture. Then click on the “…” icon in the top right corner. Select “Block user” and confirm that you want to block the person.
If you want to block private messages from a person, enter the private chat you have with that person. Click on the “…” icon in the top right corner. Then select “Block messages” and confirm that you want to block messages from that person.
To add friends in 2or3, click on your profile picture in the top left corner. Then select “Invite Friends.” You can then add friends in the following ways:
2or3 will recommend people who you may know. They may attend the same church, or they may be friends from your contacts or Facebook, etc.
Click on the “+Friend” button to send a friend request to someone. If the person accepts your request, then you will become “Friends” in 2or3.
If it says “Pending” next to the person’s name, it means that the person has not responded to your friend request yet.
If it says “Accept” next to the person’s name, it means that person has sent you a friend request, and they are waiting for your response.
You can generate an invitation QR code and share it with your friends. Also, on the “Chat” page, if you click on the “+” icon in the top right corner, you can then select “Scan QR Code” from the drop down menu.
After you send someone a friend request, that person will receive a notification. He or she can then click on “Accept” to become friends with you.
You can see any new friend requests that have been sent to you by going to the “You” section and clicking on “Friends.” Then select “Friend Requests” to see all your requests.
Great news! Your friends can join your group chats even if they aren’t in 2or3. Within your groups you can directly invite contacts from your phone to engage in your group.
The SMS feature is easy to use:
Currently, the functions that work using SMS include: text, prayers, events, polls, links, and discussions.
The SMS function is currently limited to the United States. Normal text messaging rates apply as outlined in your personal carrier plan.
Invite friends to 2or3 so they can meet others, enjoy local events, manage personal prayers, share prayer requests, and experience growth in their walk with Christ.
If, for any reason, you want to end a group in 2or3, the owner of the group can dismiss the group.
After the owner has dismissed the group, the group members will receive a message that the group has been dismissed, and the group will no longer be available.
Have you ever had a friend ask you to pray for something, and you said you would, but after a busy day you totally forgot? Maybe you need a prayer list!
When someone shares a prayer in your group, and you want to remember to pray for it later, you can click on the “Add to Prayer List” icon next to their prayer. Or you can click on their prayer for more details, and then select “Add to Prayer List.” Then later you can look at your “Prayer List” (in the “You” section) and be reminded to pray.
Whenever you have your daily prayer time, you can go through your “Prayer List” and click on the “Pray Now” button to keep track of the fact that you prayed for each request.

Public groups allow people to connect around common interests or gather for specific events, etc.
On the “Chat” page, click the “+” icon on the top right corner. Then click on the option of “Public Groups.” That will take you to the “Public Groups” page.
To search for specific groups, tap on the search icon in the top right corner. Then type a keyword in the search bar to see related groups.
When you find groups you want to participate in, you can click on “Join” to join those groups.

Any member of a group can create a poll. To create a poll:

Everyone in the group will receive a notification when the poll is created, and they can view the poll in the group.
To vote in a poll, tap on the “Vote” button. You will see the details of the poll. Choose your preferred option, and then click on “Vote.”
You can leave a comment about the poll by clicking on the “Comment” icon at the bottom of the page. You can also share the poll by clicking on the “Share” icon in the bottom right corner.
After you have voted, you will see the current results of the poll. And after the poll is closed, it will show the final results.

Only group owners or admins have the ability to remove group members.
To join a private group, you will need a member of that group to invite you or share the group with you.
A group member can send you an invitation to join the group using an invitation QR code or the group’s PIN. Or they can share the group with you in a private chat or another group. Or they can invite you to the group via email, Facebook, etc.

If you receive a QR code or group PIN, you can go to the “Chat” page and click on the “+” icon in the top right corner. You will see the options to “Enter Group PIN” or “Scan QR Code.”
If someone shares a group with you, you can then view the group details and click on “Join” if you want to join the group.
There are several ways that you can add new members to a group:
Open the group where you want to add members and tap on the group name at the top. You will enter the group profile page, where you can click on “Invite.”
Select the friends in 2or3 who you would like to add to your group.
Open the group where you want to add members. Enter the group profile page and tap on the little QR code by the group name. 2or3 will generate a specific QR code and a group PIN for you to use.
If you click on the “…” icon in the top right corner, you will see the options to scan or save the QR code. If you tap and hold on the PIN, it will be copied. Then you can paste it in a private chat or other places for your friends to use to join the group. Or you can click on the “Share Invitation” option to send an invitation via email, social media, etc.
Open the group where you want to add members and tap on the “…” icon in the upper right corner. Click on the “Share Group” option. You can share your group to another chat, the feed, Facebook, messenger, email, etc. Your friends will then see the group details, and they can join the group if they wish.
Please note that only public groups can be shared.
*Please note that some operations may ask you to allow certain system permissions (for accessing phone contacts, email, etc.).
Groups can have up to 300 members. Only the group’s owner can request to increase the group’s member limit.

While it is possible to have large groups within 2or3, please keep in mind the purpose of having a group, which is to build community. Also remember that the group messages are reply-all, which means that whenever a member replies to the group, everyone in the group will get a notification.
